Olympic Firearms Instruction is a small firearms instruction business catering to those individuals wanting a personal and professional instructional opportunity.  Class sizes are generally small and provide a fair amount of one on one interaction with the instructor.
 
OFI has been operating since 2000.  OFI offers two classes.
 
First Steps - NRA is a class for beginners who know little or nothing about how to use their handgun.  It is an excellent course to have to give yourself a good foundation of knowledge, skills, and proper attitude.
 
Defensive Handgun is a full two day course covering the basics involved in persons wanting to be able to defend themselves with a handgun.  There is a lot of material and information to be received in two days but those that have taken the class have been very pleased with what they received.
The owner and instructor is Bill Mayne.  He has the following licensing and certifications:

Level 4 Lethal Force Institute

Certified Chief Range Officer - USPSA

OFI instructs individuals who are law abiding citizens who are legally able to own or use firearms.  I will instruct persons 21 years of age or older and will make exceptions for persons 18 to 20 with proper guardian approval.  I do not offer instruction for persons under 18 years of age.
