NRA-First Steps is a firearm instruction responsibility and safety training course. It is designed to teach the beginning student the proper knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to own and use a specific handgun that you bring to class.
This is a beginners course that provides a good foundation on which to build on for the future. Class size is always small. No more than four students at a time are taught. Class time can be 4 - 5 hours with 1 or 2 students and 5 - 6 hours with 3 or 4 students. All instruction is conducted at the Mason County Sportsman's Association indoor range in Shelton, WA.
A National Rifle Association certificate is issued on completion of the course.
